Pastime! Sleeping :P

Every persons need to take a break and look for a pastime to skip away from stress and spare from any responsibilities just for a couple of minutes or hours.
What does pastime means? 
It is an activity or entertainment which makes time pass pleasantly.
You can choose plenty of pastime activities such as watching movie or tv, joy ride, shopping, eating and a lot more.
However, I as a student my favorite pastime is sleeping specially when I am studying because after sleeping I regain my energy and my brain rests for an hour or more. 
I chose sleeping considering that I gain a lot of benefits but also I like dreaming whether good dreams or bad. 
Sometimes, I can say that I used to manipulate my dreams. :)
If it's bad I will recreate it and defeat what's on that dream. :D
In good dreams, all I can say is that "I hope I didn't wake up and just continue dreaming". 
In dreams there's nothing impossible even the person whom you've never met before you can perceive.
Deja vu is also always happening to me even it is for a long time I still can remember it that it was a dream.
What does Deja vu means?
It is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced had been experienced in the past.
Deja vu is not quite rare these days. Almost all people experienced that. 
Have you also experienced that? Isn't is interesting?
For now I am anticipating for a dream that I am visiting different countries,trying different cuisines, drinking varieties of beverages, taking pictures with friends on various places, experience different cultures, meeting different people and a lot of numerous things.
Have you decided your pastime?
It's all about skipping from stress and taking a break from your busy day.
Just think of a pastime that can make you happy and forget those responsibilities just for a moment. :))
Have the happiest pastime and I will go to sleep :)

NOXIOUS WORDS

                     Are you aware on words that comes from your mouth? Are you sensitive that your words are not harmful to those people you referring to? Human cause trouble because of that action. I encountered harsh words from others. She said  "It's better your DEAD than ALIVE coz' your not useful"  I don't think those words are kind of joke. I accept hurtful words when it's delivered as a joke. tsk tsk. That words I really can't forget. People now are really careless on words that they were expressed. 

                                People says hurtful words when they were angry, but come to think of it if those words are forgetful. Lovers,friends and family happened to be broken considering that they release those heartbroken words. However, don't ever act those things on a very young person it can be the foundation of a child to be rebellious. Remember!  HURTFUL WORDS CAN LEAVE LIFETIME SCARS.

Welcome rainy season!

                    As a tropical country rainy season starts on June while summer starts on April. As for the country like Korea have four seasons while Philippines just two. If Korea's summer starts this June, ours will be rainy. I'm inspired to write this because it's raining also. The cold breeze of the wind touches my skin, it makes me lighter. When it's raining I like to sleep and just lay on my bed while texting or doing internet stuff.

               Sometimes it made me lazy also. For me rain is like a snow back to my childhood, when I dream about snow it is also raining. My friends and I used to run and play with the rain, it's more enjoyable if it pours hard and I miss those moment. Rain also is very romantic scene for lovers (base on what I saw on dramas) kissing under the rain is ohhh (giggle) :) It's getting colder. Love it.

Interesado

                   This day I find my self interested in studying Spanish not just the language but also to know and visit some of the places in Spain. As I Google my last name Labastida, I found some article about it. According to Wikipedia  Labastida (Basque: Bastida) is a town and municipality located in the province of Alava, in the Basque country, northern Spain. I wanna go that Basque country and visit my town. :)

                   Spanish language also is a little bit similar to our native language Bisaya. Like counting numbers,  Uno, dos, tres, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve and diez and a lot more loan words. It's because of the colonization of Spanish empire in our country that even several of our last names comes from them. 

                       I think I could learn Spanish easily. :)

Two different times

                  I have been watching Korean dramas, but this one has very awesome story and cast. This drama is about a prince in Joseon Era who was investigating the painful death of his princess. He gathered all the legendary on investigation. He met this three investigator and try to solve the crime but one night they met a trouble and there were outlandish thing happened they cast away through 21st century. They were placed in a rooftop house and they meet a vigorous girl who happened to be his real princess at the edge of the story. After they solved the problem they got back to the Joseon era and punished those criminals.                  Recently I've been listening Love songs to share it to my friends, I come to listen this song last night, until now early in the morning I listen it again for about nth times. The lyrics is all about her first love that she would never forget and reminiscing all they have done and was regretful of what happened to them.

              Hahaha. It's weird why would I became hook on this. I don't experience all the lyrics that was written maybe because the tune and the voice of the singer. First Love is the title of the song.The singer was a Japanese her name is Utada Hikaro. It has English and Japanese version but I prefer English so that I can understand. It has also a rendition of the boy sang by Boyz II Men. Republikan Filipino artist also revived it with matching rap. Hope you'll like it. :)

                                         Why are we still friends by 98 degrees

                   Weighing between friendship and relationship. It's a tough decision. :) If you prefer friendship both of you have freedom while in relationship you'll be careful on what you were doing. In relationship you can always tell him/her how much you love him/her while in friendship your just hiding it even if some people thought you're lovers. However if you prefer to have more accurate connection to him/her choose the friendship. Friendship is difficult to ruin than relationship. It has a solid impact in your life while in relationship ones the trust has been ruin there's a possibility that it'll be broken.

Contentment

                        Are you contented on your life now? As for me YES!

• I have a happy family I get along with my sister well now. 
• I make new friends.
• I'm skinny but still I'm thankful I have a complete and healthy body. :)
• I can eat three times a day not just three times but several. 
• I don't have lover but I have boy friends. :)
• I'm not smart but I knew a lot. 

                        Learn how to be contented and you'll find happiness through that. 

from MOUNTAIN to MINING

                          Mountains are one of the God's gift to us. Plants, trees, birds and other wild life were inhabited. It shows how wonderful God's creation is. God doesn't create without purpose. This creation is for the benefit of our ecosystem and for the human being also. They are always an essential for the health of our planet. They are natural reservoirs, as well as bio-diversity hot spots. Mountains are very sensitive they depend on human intervention to safeguard there well-being. As a human we must preserve and took care all of them for the betterment of our planet Earth. On the other side, Mining is where the extracting of minerals and a process of returning a mountain to its natural state with a distinct steps. According to the definition above, no doubt it creates odd things to our planet. It can destroy our natural resources and of course it has a following consequence.

                   I have a friend that is residing on a province that is near to a mountain, the mountain is almost at the back of their house, we stayed their for a couple of days. I observed that there are huge trucks and several cars passing through their place. Those trucks and cars are owned by an employer of the mining industry in their province. I wondered why those cars are in mountains. The company build huge roadways for their trucks and even established some signals and posted some quotes. The funny thing is those quotes are related to environment. HAHAHA

                  They constitute several projects for the province, they introduce what are the benefits of mining industry. We all knew mining can destroy mountains, not just mountains but also the ecosystem. Mining cultivate minerals and destroy mountains. Most of the residence here are indigenous people some are illiterate. My friend told me that the company bought some of the lands of those indigenous people for the benefit of their industry. As the industry starts extracting minerals out of the mountain there are some several earthquakes and the river that is clean are now turning into a brownish colored water. How could people stand what this people doing. I know there are advantages of mining also in the community it creates employment for the unemployed one. The problem is what are you going to pay back to the environment that you used to destroy. Plant trees? Your not just destroyed those trees but the earth also it was create to be a mountain. It shows how human being greedy of money. From the disasters that the planet experience as today I think those are the payment of what human does to our environment. No to mining! Help build a good relationship to our environment and experience the goodness of our mother earth!

I salute you people of Korea!

 

                          I've been wondering about the questions of some of the Koreans I met What do I like about Korea? Why I like Korea? I just answered I like the culture, tradition, language, life style and the mental outlook about life of Koreans. I almost forgot how people of Korea are strong, they fought for their freedom against China, they were kindhearted to be one of the most largest overseas volunteers, the struggles of the people to survive against financial crisis and embodied to pay their country's debt are more impressive to think that they were united whoever they are for the benefit of their country. They gain much respect form other countries who are also suffering from economic crisis. This would be the better answer for those questions. :)

                           This video shows how great people of Korea are. My country is suffering from financial crisis, the budget aren't adequate to sustain the country's expenses. If my country will do what Korea does this problem will be solved however, people who gain power does odd things like corruption. I don't know where their conscience goes that they don't even think about their fellow countrymen and just think about their selves. Wake up Filipinos! Fight for the odds! :)

Exploring God's Gift feat. PPUR

                  Puerto Prinsesa Underground River is situated in the province of Palawan country of the Philippines it is known as one of the new seven (7) wonders of the world year 2011, it is also called as the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. On November 11, 2011 it was conditionally chosen as one of the new seven (7) wonders of the world together with the Amazonia Rain forest and Iguazo Falls located in Brazil, Ha long Bay of Vietnam, Jeju Province of South Korea. Komodo Island of Indonesia and Table Mountain of South Africa. 

                          The pristine white sand, the virgin forest and most of all the amazing cave are all in Palawan.  However, the eye catching one is the underground river park also called the subterranean river park of Palawan. It is more than 24 km. long cave and it represents eight (8) forest formation of the thirteen (13) forest type. Amazing isn't it? As I sited, researchers found 800 plant species from 300 categories and 100 families.

                           Visitors used paddle boots to tour around the cave and witness the awesome rock formation as well as thousands of bats and several swift that inhabit the cave. The PPUR is also one of the cave that is open publicly. You can cruise for almost one (1) hour and it is also the longest navigable river in the world.

Accounting is Fun?!

                   First of all, What is Accounting. There are so many definitions of Accounting however I prefer this one, Accounting is a process of recording, measuring, interpreting and communicating financial data. Furthermore, it is also called as the "Language of Business" because it is often hear in most business conversation.

Why do we have to study Accounting?

                     Considering that I'm also an Accounting student, I picked this as a major because at first I think this could take me to greatness but then I realized accounting is fun if you learn to love and know how important it is in our daily lives. In this century were we are living in an era of accountability. Moreover we are obliged to pay our taxes, house rentals, tuition fees, even water and light bills and a lot more. We forgot that all of this payable things involves in accounting. Therefore, we people, accountants or not, accounting students or not should study accounting. This could help us adjust our daily expenses.This does not mean that you should study all fields accounting, just the basic one. Basically, people says accounting is more on numbers and formulas like Mathematics. I find it exaggerated because those words are perfectly wrong. Yes, accounting has numbers and a little bit formulas but those formulas cannot be form without analyzing. Basically, analyzing and interpreting transactions are the main coarse in studying accounting. If you learn to love accounting you'll know how money runs in this era.

Misconception of accounting.

                        Usually, when people hear about accounting the first thing that comes in their minds that it is for business only but then they failed to realize that accounting is not only for business. Even some prestigious professions now a days needs a working knowledge of accounting in pursuance to the practice of their profession. Everyone practices in one form or another everyday. Wherever we go and everything we do that involves decision making, accounting is present. The misconception also that accounting requires Mathematics but the truth is accounting requires Arithmetic not Mathematics.


What are some requisites in studying accounting?

                          To make studying accounting lightens your burden, there are some essential requisites. First, is your analytic ability. The ability to analyze transaction and situational problems. As for me, when I was a beginner I couldn't recognized how accounts to be debited or credited but then I learn the theories of What you received. and What you give in return. Enhancing your analytical ability is one way to lessen your burden in studying accounting.Their are also some people that are late bloomers, who knows if you try study accounting you'll realized that this major suits you.

                         Second, is the what we call "mathematics issue" that can lead to fallacy and discourage young people to choose this as their major. As what I said on the misconception of accounting. Accounting requires Arithmetic not Mathematics. If you know how the process of addition,subtraction,division and multiplication then GO AHEAD STUDY ACCOUNTING!.

                           Second to the last, is the "psychological factor" students believe that if they choose this as a major they can't survive and was intimidate because they believe that this subject is very difficult. Remember, "When one thinks he cannot, nothings happen" is different from "Yes, Ican!" so try and try, if you fail then re enroll again. :) "QUALITY EDUCATION TAKES TIME". :)

                            Lastly, this is based on my Professor that you should change your study habit. Spend more time on your studies. But honestly I change my study habit a little before I studied only before the quiz and exams but then our professor teaches us to read one chapter a day and that keeps me from difficulties.

                          "Accounting is fun!"  as to people who likes challenges. As for me it's fun and not, 75% and 25% respectively. It's fun because I learn how to love accounting and realized how interesting it is. I appreciate the importance of accounting that it is not just for business but also for our daily lives. The fact that college days are more difficult than high school days. I too is having a lot of pressure to the extent that I even dreamt about my accounting subjects. If you keep it in your mind that accounting is fun, it will encourage you to have an interest on it. As we all know "Fun things are interesting" .

Language is not the barrier of understanding. :)

Q1 How did you become interested in Korea?

 I become interested in Korea since I'm in high school, because of the country's culture and language. oh not forget the life style and the mental outlook in life of Korean. When the Korean drama invaded our country also that makes me more eager to learn and know about Korea and also to make friends.

Q2 Do you have any stories related to Korea?
  I haven't been to Korea and that's what I'm dreaming about but then I meet my new friends Sue her Korean name is Kim Suyeon and Ho his korean name is Lee Jaeho I am now becoming closer to Korea because of them, we talk a lot and see each other on skype. And now we became friends for almost a WEEK. hehehe But i know a lot about them for the last one week. I'm really hoping that this friendship will last longer until I can visit Korea hehehehe. Sue showed me some places and food in Korea and Ho told me some Korean beliefs. We exchanges messages almost everyday through facebook and that makes me proud to have a Korean friend like them. :)

 Q3 What expression comes up first when you think of Korea? And Why?
  The first expression comes up first when I think of Korea is the BOW attitude because it's really makes you feel that they respect you and welcome you to their country. Korea also is famous on there fountain bridge it is also characterized as the longest fountain bridge in the world it is located in the heart of Seoul along Han River the bridge's name is Banpo Bridge the scenario is really romantic.

Q4 Please introduce your country.
  Mabuhay! I'm from the Land of  Pearl of the Orient, Philippines. It was compared to the pearl's beautiful appearance, because the country has a lot of beautiful pristine white sand beaches and a PEARL would be a perfect analogy and moniker for that and Orient means East and the Philippines is situated on the East of Asia. Hope you'll be able to visit here also because we have a lot of tourist destination and the expenses are cheap. You'll like it. SALAMAT  for reading my article.
